After you check whether you can port phone numbers to a Lumen® Local Inbound service, use Control Center to create an order to port those phone numbers from another carrier to Lumen. You can also reserve phone numbers for Local Inbound service. Once your port order is ready, you can also trigger the port in Control Center.
To port a phone number to Local Inbound:
Note: If you leave the Customer Name Delivery (CNAM) field blank, we use the city and state. Otherwise, you can type up to 15 characters (including spaces). You can use &, but no other special characters. You cannot include a phone number or any of the following words: Anonymous, Blank, NA or N/A, None, Private, TEST, Unknown, Unlisted, Non Pub [Business Name].
