Resetting your Developer Center password

If you've forgotten your Developer Center password, you can reset it yourself so you can sign in again.

To reset your Developer Center password:

  1. Open a browser and go to developer.lumen.com.

  1. Click Forgot Username or Password.

  1. In the Username field, type your Developer Center username.
  1. In the Email field, type the email address associated with your Developer Center username.
  1. Select the I'm not a robot reCAPTCHA checkbox.
  1. Click SUBMIT.

    Developer Center sends you an email with a link to reset your password. (The link is valid for 24 hours.)
  1. In the email we sent you, click the Reset Password link. If you don't receive an email from Lumen, or you have a problem with any part of this process, contact us and we'll help get your Developer Center access restored.

  1. Type a new password in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields, then click CONTINUE. (Get help choosing a password)

    Developer Center saves your password, signs you in, and shows the My Apps page.
  1. Type your email address in the field, then click Submit.

    Developer Center emails you link to reset your password. When you click the link, Developer Center prompts you to create a new password.

Note: You must use the link within 24 hours. If you wait longer than 24 hours, repeat the steps above to request another reset.
