Network: When traceroute is useful

Traceroute #4 shows an increase in latency between hops 3 and 4. This matches the diagram below with the red arrow indicating congestion between MIN and OMH. Later on, we’ll see how this doesn’t always hold true.

We can also see the latency continues on to hop 5.

Looking at the interface between MIN and OMH confirms the link is saturated:
