Creating an Object Tier bucket for Network Storage

Once you create a Object Tier tenant for Lumen® Network Storage in Control Center, you can create buckets for the tenant. Bucket names must be unique. If you no longer need a bucket, you can delete it so that it no longer appears in the list of buckets.

To create an Object Tier bucket for Network Storage:

  1. Click Services.

    Control Center shows the Services console. Use the console to access an inventory of your services, check the status of orders, and manage your services.

  1. In the Edge Services box, click Network Storage.

    Control Center shows a list of storage nodes for your organization (if any) with the name, location status, and total provisioned storage for each node.

  1. Click the Object Storage tab.

    Control Center lists the Object Tier tenants for your organization with the region, location and S3 endpoint for each.

  1. Click the Buckets subtab.

    Control Center shows all Object Tier buckets for your organization (if any).

  1. Click CREATE BUCKET.

  1. In the Bucket Name field, type a name for the bucket.
  1. From the Tenant list, select the tenant you want to use for the bucket.
  1. Click CREATE BUCKET.

    Control Center creates the bucket.
